Description	Oxidace palmitylkarnitinu v mitochondriích krysích jater byla výrazně inhibována 200 µM tert-butylhydroperoxidem, zatímco oxidace sukcinátu (flavoprotein-závislého substrátu) ovlivněna nebyla. Rovněž syntéza ATP nebyla inhibována v přítomnosti 200 µM tert-butylhydroperoxidu. Naše výsledky ukazují, že flavoprotein-závislé substráty by mohly být důležitým nutričním faktorem při regeneraci jater poškozených oxidačním stresem (cs) Palmityl carnitine oxidation is strongly depressed at a low (200 µM) tert-butylhydroperoxide, while oxidation of flavoprotein-dependent substrate, succinate, is not affected and neither is ATP synthesis inhibited by 200 µM tert-butylhydroperoxide.
