  • Jednostěnné uhlíkové nanotrubičky (SWNT), suspendované v kultivačním médiu, snižovaly počet lidských kostních buněk MG 63 úměrně ke stoupající koncentraci SWNT (0.4 - 4 mg/ml). SWNT však neaktivovaly makrofágy k uvolňování volných radikálů. Po implantaci SWNT do svalové tkáně potkana se SWNT přesouvaly do lympfaticých uzlin. Okolo implantátů se nevytvářelo vazivové opouzdření a tkáň rychle regenerovala (cs)
