Description	An S. cerevisiae mutant strain lacking the genes encoding alkali-metal-cation exporters (NHA1, ENA1, ENA2, ENA3, ENA4) and potassium importers (TRK1 TRK2) has been constructed. The NHA1 and TRK1 genes have been substituted by the LEU2 gene; the four ENA genes and the TRK2 gene have been replaced by the HIS3 gene. Geny NHA1 a TRK1 byly nahrazeny genem LEU2 a čtyři geny ENA spolu TRK2 byly vyměněny za gen HIS3. Vznikl tak unikátní GMO v genetickém pozadí W303 s využitím pro studium heterologně exprimovaných transportérů draselných kationů z nižších i vyšších eukaryot (cs)
