  • Kataláza je jedním z enzymatických komponent antioxidačního obranného systému erytrocytů. Aktivita se zvyšuje s věkem u samců i samic, avšak výraznější zvýšení bylo nalezeno u samic. Akutní hypobarická hypoxie zvýšila aktivitu ve všech studovaných skupinách, i když byla výrazněji zvýšena nižší aktivita samců ve srovnání se samicemi. Jak ontogenetické aspekty tak pohlavní rozdíly hrají významnou úlohu v utváření katalázové aktivity (cs)
  • Catalase (CAT) is one of the enzymatic components of erythrocyte antioxidant defense system. During development CAT activity increases in both sexes, but the rise was usually higher in females. Acute hypobaric hypoxia increased CAT activity in all studied age groups of both sexes. However, higher CAT activity in females was less affected than the lower activity in males. It can be concluded that both ontogenetic aspects and sex differences play a major role in establishing the activity of CAT
