  • Sledovali jsme úlohu chloridu v patogenezi DOCA-solné hypertenze u mladých potkanů kmene Wistar, kteří chronicky dostávali NaHCO3 nebo NaCl v dietě nebo v pití. Selektivní příjem sodíku (bez chloridu) zvýšil krevní tlak u potkanů, kteří přijímali NaHCO3 v dietě a kterým byla zároveň podávána DOCA. Absence intravaskulární expanze společně s mírnou dehydratací u zvířat, která pila roztok NaHCO3, byla pravděpodobnou příčinou jejich neschopnosti zvýšit krevní tlak po podávání DOCA (cs)
  • Role of chloride in pathogenesis of DOCA-salt hypertension was evaluated in young Wistar rats chronically loaded with either NaHCO3 or NaCl admnistered in the diet or in the drinking fluid. Selective sodium loading (without chloride) increased blood pressure in DOCA-treated rats if NaHCO3 was provided in the diet. The absence of intravascular expansion together with moderate dehydration in NaHCO3-drinking rats was a probable cause of the failure to elevate blood pressure after DOCA treatment
