Description	Several groups including ours demonstrated cardiac hyperplasia in neonates from genetically hypertensive rat strains. Using recombinant inbred strains derived from a cross between Brown Norway and SHR progenitors, we mapped the inhibition of neonatal apoptosis to distinct loci on chromosome 1 and 18. The study has also demonstrated that the loci determining organ weights in neonates are distinct from those determining increased organ weight in adults. Pomocí rekombinantních inbredních kmenů odvozených od Brown Norway a SHR rodičů jsme mapovali úseky na chromozómu 1 a 18, které mohou inhibovat neonatální apoptozu.
