Description	Most recent models of excitation of the nutation by geophysical fluids (atmosphere, oceans) are compared with the observed celestial pole offsets. It is shown that U.S. model NCEP/NCAR yields better agreement with observations than European models ERA/OMCT. The influence of geomagnetic jerks improves the agreement substantially.
