| - The Earth orientation parameters (EOP), based on optical astrometry observations of latitude and universal time variations and the HIPPARCOS Catalogue, covering 1899.7-1992.0, were determined in past years at Astronomical Institute in Prague. During the solution it has been discovered that not all HIPPARCOS stars are suitable for a long-term study; many of them proved to have large errors in proper motions. Recently, the new Earth Orientation Catalogue (EOC) based on the ARIHIP, TYCHO2 and the initial HIPPARCOS catalogues is being prepared. We apply the provisional version of the catalogue to the optical astrometry observations (except for those of the method of equal altitudes) to test the new EOC. The differences of the EOP with respect to the EOP from the solution OA00 (Ron & Vondrák, 2001) are discussed.

- Parametry orientace Země (POZ) odvozené z pozorování variací šířky a světového času metodami optické astrometrie v soustavě katalogu HIPPARCOS a pokrývající interval 1899.7-1992.0 byly v posledních letech určeny v Astronomickém ústavu AV ČR. Během řešení se ukázalo, že ne všechny hvězdy z katalogu HIPPARCOS jsou vhodné pro dlouhodobé analýzy; u mnoha z nich byly dokázány velké chyby ve vlastních pohybech. Připravili jsme nový hvězdný katalog 'Earth Orientation Catalogue' (EOC) založený na katalozích ARIHIP, TYCHO2 na původním katalogu HIPPARCOS. Předběžnou verzi katalogu EOC jsme aplikovali na pozorování optické astrometrie (kromě pozorování metodou stejných výšek), abychom tento nový katalog EOC otestovali. Jsou zde diskutovány rozdíly nově určených POZ vůči POZ z předchozího řešení OA00 (Ron, Vondrák, 2001). (cs)
