  • Počítačový program v jazyce Fortran invertuje seismické záznamy do mechanismu seismického zdroje v popisu obecného momentového tenzoru (MT), který dovoluje postihnout obecné dipólové zdroje, např. střižnou dislokaci běžnou u tektonických zemětřesení (popsanou dvojitým dipólem, DC), i objemové zdroje jako tahové trhliny nebo imploze dutin. Využívá nepřímou parametrizaci mechanismu zdroje pomocí nezávislých momentových funkcí. Provádí analýzu chyb zjištěného mechanismu: vyčísluje kovarianční matici výsledného MT na základě standardních chyb vstupních seismogramů. Program je navržen jak pro zpracování záznamů přirozených zemětřesení, tak i seismických jevů vyvolaných průmyslovou aktivitou. (cs)

As such, it allows describe general dipole sources including isotropic components: e.g., it is suitable to retrieve the parameters of both a shear dislocation common at foci of tectonic earthquakes (described as a double-couple, DC) and volumetric sources as tensile cracks or cavity implosions. It applies INdirect PARametrization (INPAR) of the mechanism through independent moment tensor rate functions. It provides the MT error estimate: evaluates the data covariance matrix based on standard deviations of individual records on the input. It is designed both for processing of seismic data from earthquakes and induced events as well.
