| - Amenitní migrace je specifický typ lidské migrace, která zpravidla směřuje z urbánního prostředí do rurálních a horských oblastí a která není primárně motivována ekonomicky, ale právě snahou žít v území s hodnotnějším přírodním, případně i sociálním a kulturním prostředím, a tím dosáhnout vyšší kvality života. Zvýšení kvality života tímto způsobem je platné samozřejmě jen pro určitou skupinu lidské populace, pro tu, která staví v hodnotovém žebříčku životní prostředí na jedno z čelných míst. Amenitní migrace je podporována vznikem a masovým šířením informačních technologií a vede ke změnám prostorového uspořádání lidských aktivit. Za určitých podmínek se může ovlivňovat socioekonomický rozvoj daného regionu v podobě zpomalování vysídlování venkova a horských oblastí, vytváření nových pracovních příležitostí a pod. Na druhé straně případná nová výstavba včetně budování nové technické infrastruktury může mít za následek i negativní zásahy do životního prostředí. (cs)
- Amenity migration is an emerging global phenomenon. It is a specific type of migration which is not motivated by economic prosperity – it has been brought about by the desire to render more valuable the natural or socio-cultural environment of the target territory, and it is often directed from metropolitan to rural areas or else to historic hearts of cities. This phenomenon has been strongly supported by the spread andgrowing accessibility of mass information technologies. As with any other kind of migration, it can lead to changes in the spatial distribution of human activities in the target territory. Under specific conditions it can become one of the societal driving forces determining the socio-economic development of the given region. In the Central European context, amenity migration seems to be in its early stage of development.
