  • V letech 1999 až 2002 byla na stanici Červenohorské sedlo (Hrubý Jeseník) prováděna terénní měření chemismu horizontálních a vertikálních srážek. Vertikální srážky byly odebírány metodou bulk a throughfall a pro odběry horizontálních srážek byl použit pasivní kolektor typu Grunow. Ve všech vzorcích odebraných srážek byly monitorovány pH, koncentrace NH4+, Ca2+, K+, Mg2+, Na+, Cl-, NO3-, a SO42-. V letech 1999 až 2002 se průměrné pH vážené srážkovým úhrnem pohybovalo v rozmezí od 4.92 do 5.43 ve srážkách na volné ploše (bulk), od 4.30 do 4.71 ve srážkách odebíraných pod porostem a od 4.66 do 5.23 v horizontálních srážkách. Ve vzorcích horizontálních srážek byly v letech 2000 až 2002 nalezeny vyšší koncentrace NO3- a NH4+ než na volné ploše. (cs)
  • Field study at the Červenohorské sedlo (1013 m a.s.l.) (Hrubý Jeseník Mountains, the Czech Republic, Central Europe) during 1999 – 2002 has been conducted in order to analyse the chemistry of rain/snow water using bulk and throughfall collector and fog/cloud water using modified passive Grunow collector. Fog water input to coniferous forest (Picea abies) was quantified using canopy balance method. For all samples pH, and the concentrations of NH4+, Ca2+, K+, Mg2+, Na+, Cl-, NO3-, and SO42- were measured. The volume – weighted mean pH value varied from 4.92 to 5.43 in open bulk precipitation, from 4.30 to 4.71 in throughfall and from 4.66 to 5.23 in fog water during 1999 – 2002. The related enrichment factors lie between 1.1 and 10.7 for the relevant species. The fog samples exhibit higher concentrations of NO3- and NH4+ as compared to the bulk samples during 2000 – 2002.
