  • V této zprávě jsou popsány komponenty, algoritmy a matematické detaily pro plánovací modely zohledňující umístění jak výpočetních tak i úložných kapacit. Práce byla navržena pro použití se systémem pro distribuované kódování videa v gridových prostředích. Specialitou tohoto systému je, že produkuje úlohy prakticky přesně stejně velké velikosti a tudíž za jistých předpokladů v práci diskutovaných lze navrhnout algoritmus, který náleží do třídy PO. Déle podrobně diskutujeme požadavky na služby pro předpovídání síťového provozu, které jsou nezbytné k optimalizaci umístění dat s ohledem na dostupnou výpočetní kapacitu. (cs)
  • In this report, we describe components, algorithms and mathematical details for the scheduling jobs with respect to distributed both computing capacity and storage capacity. The work was designed for distributed video processing in Grid environments described in [5]. The video processing features important advantage of having almost exactly uniform job size and thus the scheduling algorithm may belong to PO class under certain assumptions discussed here. Furthermore we provide in-depth discussion of requirements on network traf c prediction services that need to be used to optimize data location with respect to available processing capacity and vice versa.
