  • The paper describes the course of the project %22Flexible model of the ICT-supported educational process reflecting individual learning styles%22 which is based on the C. A. Johnston´s model of %22Unlocking the Will to Learn%22. The project was structured in three main phases. First, the individual learning style of each student was detected by the Learning Combination Inventory; second, students´preferences of various study materials were monitored by the questionnaire; and finally, the pedagogical experiment was run based on the pre-test/instruction/post-test structure within the online course %22Library services – information competence and education%22. The received results proved expected preferences in study materials relating to the learning style but no statistically significant differences in students´ knowledge resulting from the reflection of learning styles within the distance online instruction were discovered.
