  • The increased consumption and the using of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are leading to dynamical applications as well as to increased problems with ICT-waste. A big amount of valuable material is disappearing at the dumps. How are knowledge of students and teachers in the mentioned area ? it is the content of school curriculum or it is necessary to add this topic into the school curriculum? Do students have any knowledge about materials on the electronic devices and how much costs their recycling? Some answers gives questionnaire %22What with old computers?%22 distributed to students of teaching. By results we propose some activities, classes or class projects, for primary and secondary science education oriented to integration of science subjects (experimental activities, data mining and evaluation, calculations, geographical aspects, work with foreign texts, etc.).

  • Vzrůstající spotřeba a využití informačních a komunikačních technologií (ICT) vede nejen k jejich stále dynamičtějšímu využívání, ale i k zvyšujícímu se množství odpadu z těchto zařízení, kdy na skládkách mizí značné množství drahocenných materiálů. Jaké jsou ale znalosti studentů a učitelů z této oblasti ? setkali se nebo by se chtěli setkat s tímto tématem ve školní výuce? Vědí z jakých materiálů se může skládat elektronické zařízení a kolik musí v současnosti zaplatit za jeho recyklaci? Na tyto a jiné otázky jsme se snažili najít odpovědi v dotazníku %22Kam se starými počítači?%22 určeném univerzitním studentům a učitelům. Na základě zjištěných výsledků přicházíme s náměty možných činností v rámci mezipředmětové integrace a možností přípravy školních projektů (experimentální činnosti v přírodovědných předmětech, vyhledávání a sběr dat, matematické kalkulace, geografické aspekty, práce s cizojazyčnými texty atd.).
