Description	Slovenia and the Czech Republic participated in joint projects in the total duration of eight years. These projects were focused on investigation, mapping, collecting and exchange of old landraces and crop wild relatives (CWR). Slovenia participated in 5 collecting missions to Czech Republic. Czech partners participated in 8 missions to Slovenia; part of one was an extension to Croatia. In Slovenia, 1434 seed samples on 144 localities have been collected. Expeditions in Goričko, Koroško and Bela Krajina regions were devoted to old land races, while the others to crop wild relatives. Prevailing collected samples were fodder legumes, grasses and medicinal plants. In the Istrian Peninsula, it was possible to collect cereal CWR, especially Aegilops and Dasypyrum. The fruit specialist group visited old orchards in the Ljubljana region, Karthusian monastery Pleterje, Podprieska, Nova Štfta, Jurjevica, Gotanica, Kačji potok and later regions of Primorje and Slovenian Karst.
