  • Cílem práce bylo kvantifikovat míru nežádoucího opylení mezi regeneračními parcelami s genetickými zdroji téhož cizosprašného druhu Festuca pratensis, od níž byly k dispozici čtyři odlišné linie odvozené z odrůdy Loken, homozygotní pro různé kombinace alel na třech isozymových lokusech GPI-2, PGM-2 a Est-4. Pokus se uskutečnil na 4 místech (Norsko, Dánsko, ČR a Velká Británie) a zahrnoval 3 bloky parcel se vzdáleností mezi parcelami 15, 30 a 60 m, vzájemně izolovaných různou kulisovou plodinou, založených ve dvou opakováních. Každý blok se skládal z centrální parcely (receptoru), obklopené hexagonem parcel potenciálních zdrojů kontaminace (donorů). Z každé rostliny v centrální parcele bylo analyzováno 7 - 14 semenáčků na allozymové složení a byla odhadnuta kontaminace cizím pylem. Na všech pokusných místech klesala kontaminace se zvětšující se vzdáleností parcel. K redukci kontaminace pod 1 % byla doporučena izolační vzdálenost minimálně 30 m a vysoká kulisová plodina (nejlépe se osvědčilo žito). (cs)

The wind-pollinated species (Festuca pratensis) was used, where 4 distinct populations were available. The populations could be distinguished by being homozygous for different combinations of alleles at three isoenzyme loci: (GPI-2, PGM-2, and Est-4). Each experimental unit involved one central receptor plot surrounded by a hexagon of six donor plots. Field experiments were conducted in Norway, Denmark, the Czech Republic and UK, with three experimental units using an inter-plot distances of 15, 30 and 60 m. All sites used different barrier crops.
