| - This work is concerned with the development of practical methods for increasing grassland biodiversity. One of potential methods for restoration of biodiversity on arable land is seeding of regional seed mixtures including selection of plant components, making seed mixtures and choice of technology of establishment of species-rich meadows. A field experiment was carried out in the year 2000 on arable land with the aim of evaluating the development of species-rich meadows established by sowing different seed mixtures and sowing rates (20 and 40 kg.ha-1). The results showed different development and a different role of individual components during four years of cultivation. Significant differences in herbage production and insignificant differences in characters between stands established by a different sowing rate are important from the viewpoint of the economy of meadow establishment.

- Tato práce se týká vývoje praktických technologií pro zvyšování biodiverzity travních porostů. Jeden z možných postupů obnovy biodiverzity na orné půdě je nové zatravnění výsevem regionální směsi, zahrnující výběr rostlinných komponent, sestavení směsi semen a vlastní technologie založení. Polní pokus na orné půdě byl založen v roce 2000, s cílem vyhodnotit vývoj druhově bohatých porostů, založených výsevem regionální směsi (výsevné množství 20 a 40 kg.ha-1). Výsledky ukázaly především rozdílný vývoj a uplatnění jednotlivých komponent během čtyř vegetačních let. Průkazné rozdíly v produkci zelené hmoty a neprůkazné rozdíly mezi porosty založené odlišnou výsevnou dávkou (20 resp. 40 kg. ha-1) jsou významné z hlediska ekonomiky zakládání květnatých luk. (cs)
