Description	The relationship between the degree of incidence of endophytes, Neotyphodium spp. in 2874 seedlings of Lolium perene (F1 generation of 34 different ecotypes collected in Bohemia and Moravia) and their important properties were evaluated. The correlation between incidence of endophytes in plants and degree of attact with stem rust (Puccinia graminis, subsp. graminicola), winterkill caused by snow mold (Monographella nivalis var. nivalis), mechanical damage caused by herbivores, same physiological (time heading) and morphological properties (leaf colour, lawn or forage type) was not investigated. Genotypes with higher levels of E+ plant in the population had a higher number of fertile tillers. The differences in seed yield were influenced by the strong attact of stem rust.
