  • The aim of this study was to monitor the frequency of occurrence and characterization of lactobacilli isolated from ready-to-eat food from retail. Identification of suspect isolates from meat products was investigated on phenotype and genotype level. Growth on selective media and resistance to antimicrobial substance was observed.
