Description
  • Recently, there have been a growing numer of applications of geographic information systéme in epidemiology and public health. Data for GIS may be gathered using standard screening methods throughout a distinct territory as well as remote sensing from satellites. GIS databases offer new analytic opportunities for disease assessment and prevention. This presentation documents examples of analyses of distribution of tularemia in veterinary medicine.

  • V současnosti roste počet aplikací geografických informačních systémů (GIS) v oblasti epidemiologie a veřejného zdraví. (cs)
