  • This study was focused on the identification of the components of essential and aromatic oils in two herbaceous plants. The first one, the lion's tail (Leonurus Cardiaca) is recommended as sedative and cardiotonic drug. This plant is known to contain mainly diterpenes and flavonoids. The second one, the locust tree (Robinia Pseudoacacia) is usually used as zest or diuretic drug. This plant contains mainly flavonoids, especially derivatives of flavone, flavonole and chalcone. Both these plants are also used as a homeopathic remedy. The essential and aromatic oils were isolated from the dried plant either by sequential extraction using ethanol and petroleum ether, or by carrier vapor distillation. The preliminary analysis of the individual components was realized using thin layer chromatography on silica with chemical detection by vanillin, whilst the high resolution chromatography and mass spectrometric detection (Agilent 6890N GC / Agilent 5973 MSD) were used for the separation and identificati

  • Studie je založena na identifikaci složek silic a aromatických olejů dvou rostlin. První rostlina srdečník obecný (Leonurus Cardiaca) je doporučována jako sedativum a srdeční lék. Druhá rostlina trnovník akát (Robinia Pseudoacacia) se používá jako diuretickum. Tyto rostliny obsahují hlavně flavonoidy, zejména deriváty flakonu, flavonolu a chalconu. Ze sušených rostlin byly izolovány silice a aromatické oleje. K identifikaci jednotlivých složek byla použita HRGC/MS. (cs)
