Description	The paper is focused on the occurence of antibodies in blood sera of animals and humans from territory in the near vicinity of endemic area of leptospiroses. In all, 20 268 blood sera from animals and humans were examined. The serology was based on the microagglutination lysis with 13 strains of leptospiroses in the basic dilution of 1:100 and up to the titre in positive sera. Antibodies against leptospiroses of various serotypes were found in 3,16% of cases. Most numerous were positive sera in small mammals (14,22%) while in the cattle and pigs the positive sera amounted to 4,29% and 2,64%, respectively. Sera from humans were positive only in 0,26%. The sera examined reacted most often with leptospiroses of the L. grippothyposa serotype (human, small mammalian , bovine and porcine ones in 10%, 97%, 70,4% and 42,3% respectively). Sera positive to other serotypes were only occasional.
