Description	Statistics of hunting mouflon game help to predict a future development of mouflon stock in the Czech Republic. Annual shooting of mouflon increased six times in the period 1970-2000 and the number of medal trophies was growing continually with the increAs many as 76 of 100 largest trophies in the world originate from the Czech Republic and among these also the first seven ones. Mouflon game management brought a much welcome compensation to many game keepers in connexion with the decline of small wild game stock, resulting at the same time in a considerable increase of game damage to forests. (en) Ze statistiky lovu mufloní zvěře je odvozován vývoj jejích stavů v České republice. V průběhu let 1970 až 2000 se šestkrát navýšil její roční odstřel. S nárůstem lovu kontinuálně přibýval i počet medailových trofejí. 76 ze 100 nejsilnějších trofejí na světě pochází z České republiky. Mezi nimi i prvních sedm. V souvislosti s úpadkem stavů drobné zvěře přinesl chov mufloní zvěře pro mnohé myslivce vítané vyrovnání. Zároveň však výrazně narostly škody zvěří na lese.
