Description	An analysis was made of the present situation concerning game appreciation in the Czech Republic. A study was conducted into effective laws and regulations related to the valuation of nature. There is no legally binding directive for game appreciation inA questionnaire method (Contingent Valuation Method - CVM) was used to survey activities of all 87 court experts in game management currently registered in Czech Republic. It was found out that game is appreciated as property, which contradicts to its Methods most frequently used for game appreciation are the yield (demand) method and the comparative method.
