Description	In twenty-five selected gene resources of Triticum aestivum L. with the non-standard spike morphotype MRS (multirow spike ) and LG (long glumes ), the presence of Glu D 1 5 + 1 0 glutenin subunits was tested using DNA markers. The presence of these loci is a genetic marker of high baking quality. The DNA for analysis was isolated from young wheat leaves using the DNAsy Plant Mini Kit (f. Qiagen). Spe- cific sequences of nucleotides were determined by the Specific Polymorphic Locus Amplification Test -SPLAT (D'Ovidio, Anderson, 1994), using primers JEDL11 and JEDL12. The allele Glu Dl 5+10 was verified in all the MRS lines and in all LG lines. These genotypes are used for further crosses and breeding.
