Description	The paper, written as a part of solution of a post-doctorate grant (GACR, No. 402/02/P059) being solved under the research plan of the Faculty of Business and Economics, Mendel University in Brno (MSM 431100007), describes the first experience of use of business simulation in teaching Strategic management. It briefly describes the simulation, its rules, and way of application in seminars. Then it describes different approaches of students towards their decision-making within the simulation, their willingness to cooperate, and their coping with simulation rules. The paper concludes summarizing opinions of students on suitability of the simulation for the subject and for their future practice.
