| Description
| - Od roku 1993 je program uchování a využití genetických zdrojů kulturních rostlin podporován Ministerstvem zemědělství v rámci tzv. národního programu. V současné době uchováváme a využíváme pře 300 položek meruněk. Za účelem popisné práce s genofondy a pro šlechtitelské využití byly hodnoceny kolekce meruněk s cílem vybrat genotypy a znaky související se zvýšením úrovně adaptability k prostředí. Frekvence fenotypických projevů pro dané znaky související s adaptabilitou měly rozdílné zastoupení. Nejvyšší frekvence byla u znaku samosprašnost (o,354) naopak nejnižší pro znak pozdní kvetení (0,059). Pro program šlechtění byly vybrány donory znaků - mrazuodolnost květních pupenů, tolerance juvenilních plůdků, délka dormance květních pupenů, samosprašnost a pozdní kvetení. Některé z vybraných donorů mají současně tržní úroveň plodů. Genetické zlepšení meruněk v rámci Prunus armeniaca L. je možné ve všech výše uvedených znacích. (cs)
- In the frame of a so-called %22National program%22 and since 1993, the Ministry of Agriculture has been supporting the program of preservation and management of genetic resources of horticultural plants. At the present time, we preserve and manage more than 300 types of apricot trees. In the frame of the description work of the genetic resources and in order to be used in breeding, a collection of apricots has been evaluated so that we selected the genotypes and characters relating to an increased level of adaptation to the environment. Frequencies of phenotypic demonstrations for given characters related to adaptability were differently represented. The highest value of frequency was observed on the character self-fertility (0,354) and the lowest one in the character of late blooming (0,059). Donors of different characters were chosen for the breeding program. The selected characters were frost hardiness of flower buds during winter, tolerance of juvenile fruits during spring, dormancy duration of flower
