  • Molecular methods provide valuable tools for the reliable and precise identification of plants. Analysis of DNA can identify individuals that differ genetically, in the most extrem cases, by only a single base pair. There are many practical application for molecular identification methods that can be employed in different situation. In case of our research of heat-loving fruit trees (peach, apricot, grapevine) and also soybean we used mainly RAPD analysis of genomic plant DNA. We tested 40 primers to obtain polymprphic repeatable strong and middle strong bands. These results going to be used for the identification and description cultivars.
