Description
  • This paper presents a single approach on how to measure flow-rates on small water streams using an unique method. In the introductory part of the paper the definitions of small watersheds and small water streams are discussed considering the current situation both in the law and in the scientific circles. The methodology is then introduced as well as the statistic approaches that were used to smooth data. The prime results are then discussed and conclusions drawn. The method was used to carry out two years of weekly measurements on two localities of the Training Forest Enterprise Masaryk Forest Křtiny. A discussion then follows on the accuracy of obtained values and how it can be increased. The prime results from the two years of measurements are presented and the observed trends commented.
