| - Výstavba čistíren odpadních vod, které nefungují, podpora zastaralé průmyslové výroby, pomoc exportu českých nekonkurenceschopných firem, průzkum nerostných surovin určených na vývoz a další nepodařené projekty ilustrují jen část české rozvojové pomoci. Druhou přibývající částí jsou moderně realizované projekty, jimiž se Česku vrací pověst důvěryhodného donora. Dobrou pověst jsme také získali díky efektivní humanitární činnosti nevládních neziskových organizací. Účinnost poskytování prostředků a poradenství chudým zemím ze strany České republiky je omezena absencí zastřešující agentury rozvojové pomoci a selháváním kontroly nad realizovanými projekty České zahraniční rozvojové spolupráce. Právě kvůli tomu byla založena nevládní nezisková organizace Development Watch. Cílem tohoto občanského sdružení je soustřeďovat a zveřejňovat problematické i příkladné projekty, kterými se náš stát snaží pomáhat chudším zemím. Projekty jsou vybírány náhodně dle možností členů sdružení a přispěvatelů. Nezávislost je (cs)
- Construction of waste water treatment plants that do not work, support of obsolete industrial production, export support for uncompetitive Czech companies, survey of mineral stock intended for export, as well as other stray projects are only a part of Czech development assistance. The second and increasing portion are projects implemented in a modern way, which create the reputation of a credible donor for the Czech Republic. We have gained credit also thanks to the efficient humanitarian activities of non-profit NGOs. The effectiveness of the Czech Republic in providing resources and consultation for poor countries is limited by the absence of a single agency covering development assistance, as well as by the failure of supervision over implemented Czech foreign development assistance projects. These are all reasons why the Development Watch non-profit organisation was established. The aim of this civic association is to collect and publish troublesome, as well as exemplary projects of our state that
