The ecosystem conception of forests and their functions does not consider forests as an exclusive economic estate but as a national wealth and irreplaceable component of the environment. - Finanční vyjádření hodnot funkcí lesů není %22 oceňováním %22 . Nestanovuje hodnoty tržní, ale jeho cílem jsou informace společnosti o hodnotě funkcí lesních ekosystémů v systému hodnot vnímaných a přijímaných lidskou společností. Srozumitelným, srovnávacím prostředkem, jednotně společensky užívaným jsou peníze . Peněžní vyjádření hodnot funkcí lesů je komparatibilním nástrojem společnosti k řízení a hájení životadárných zdrojů a složek životního prostředí. Použitou metodou finančního vyjádření hodnot funkcí lesů je %22 peněžní příměr ke společensky známému ekonomickému jevu %22. Společenky známým ekonomickým jevem z oblasti funkcí lesů je dominantní produkt bioprodukční funkce -- dřevní hmota a její finančně hodnotové relace - cena.
