| - Červená sypavka borovic způsobovaná houbou Mycosphaerella pini E. Rostrup byla poprvé v České republice objevena v roce 1999 na importovaných sazenicích Pinus nigra Arnold. V roce 2000 byla následně nalezena ve volné výsadbě. Během několika let se tato choroba stala jedním z nejdůležitějších patogenů borovic. Výskyt byl potvrzen na více než 70 lokalitách, zejména na Moravě, ve Slezsku a východních Čechách. Hostitelské spektrum zahrnuje 13 druhů borovic (Pinus nigra Arnold, Pinus mugo Turra, Pinus ponderosa Laws. (Douglas), Pinus jeffreyi Grev. et Balf, Pinus banksiana Lamb., Pinus contorta Douglas, Pinus rotundata Link, Pinus leucodermis Ant., Pinus sylvestris L., Pinus aristata Engelm., Pinus rigida Mill., Pinus hledreichii H. Christ. a Pinus cembra L. var. sibirica (Du Tour) G. Don) a 4 druhy smrku (Picea pungens Engelm., Picea abies Karst., Picea schrenkiana Fisch. et C. A. Mey a Picea omorika (Pančić) Purkyně). Nejčastějším hostitelem je Pinus nigra (80 % lokalit) a dále Pinus mugo (27 % lokalit).

- Dothistroma needle blight, caused by the fungus Mycosphaerella pini E. Rostrup, was first observed in the Czech Republic in 1999 on an imported Pinus nigra Arnold. In 2000, it was again found on open-grown trees. During the last few years, it has become an important pathogen of pines in the Czech Republic where it has been detected in more than 70 localities, especially in Moravia and Silesia and Eastern Bohemia. It has been found on 13 species of pine (Pinus nigra Arnold, Pinus mugo Turra, Pinus ponderosa Laws.
