| - Humus is one of the most important fractions of forest soils. It is the product of humification processes in soil being affected by the species composition of stands markedly influencing soil properties conditioning high fertility of soils. The quality of humus and particular humus fractions -- humic and fulvic acids is an important soil characteristics. The study assesses the quality of humus substances in three stands (spruce, beech and mixed stand) in the central part of the Drahanská vrchovina Upland. Research plots are situated at an altitude of 600-660 m. Mean annual air temperature is 6.5°C, mean annual precipitation 717 mm. The research plot bedrock is created by an intrusive rock, namely acid granodiorite. Typical Cambisol - an acid variant is the soil type of the plots. Humic substances were extracted from the fine earth of soil samples using the solution of sodium pyrophosphate and NaOH. The ratio of humic /fulvic acids was found by the determination of the content of carbon in both fractio

- Humus je jednou z nejdůležitějších frakcí lesních půd. Je produktem humifikačních procesů v půdě, je ovlivněn druhovou skladbou porostů a výrazně ovlivňuje půdní vlastnosti podmiňující vysokou úrodnost. Kvalita humusu a jednotlivých humusových frakcí -- huminových kyselin a fulvokyselin je důležitou půdní charakteristikou. Studie hodnotí kvalitu humusových látek ve třech porostech (smrkový, bukový a smíšený) v centrální části Drahanské vrchoviny. Výzkumné plochy se nachází v nadmořské výšce 600-660 m n. m. Průměrná roční teplota vzduchu je 6,5 °C, průměrné roční srážky 717 mm. Mateční horninou je hlubinná vyvřelá hornina kyselý granodiorit. Půdním typem je kambizem typická - varianta kyselá. Humusové látky byly z jemnozemě půdních vzorků extrahovány roztokem pyro-fosforečnanu sodného a NaOH. Byl zjištěn vzájemný poměr huminových kyselin a fulvokyselin stanovením obsahu uhlíku v obou frakcích. Obsah uhlíku byl analyzován na analyzátoru SHIMADZU TOC 5000A. Dále byl pro stanovení poměru huminových kyse (cs)
