  • Článek se zabývá rozborem funkce a analýzou účinnosti odsávání moderních frézovacích strojů pro vysokorychlostní obrábění. Značný vliv na účinnost odsávání má tvar sacích zákrytů, který ovlivňuje rychlost proudění vzduchu odsávajícího dřevěný odpad. Metodika měření spočívá v použití sondy (Prandtlova trubice) k stanovení rychlostního profilu. Na základě propočtů rychlosti odsávání aplikací Bernoulliovy rovnice a jejich porovnáním s experimentem pro různé tvary sacích zákrytů jsou navrhovány nové konstrukce odsávacích zařízení frézovacích strojů.   • The paper deals with the analysis of a function and efficiency of the exhaustion of modern milling machines for high-speed machining. The shape of suction covers affecting the velocity of air flow exhausting wood waste shows considerable effects on the efficiency of exhaustion. The procedure of measuring consists in the use of a probe (Prandtl tube) to determine the velocity profile. On the basis of calculations of the velocity of exhaustion by the application of Bernoulli equation and by their comparison with an experiment for various shapes of suction covers new constructions are designed of exhausting devices of milling machines.
