  • Present measuring technique in the field of eco-physiology allows to detect responses of trees immediately, quantify different unfavorable effects at the level of individual roots and the whole trees and to specify the most important features of the injury. Absorbing and transporting root functions estimated through sap flow measurement based on heat field deformation method applying and single-point sensors (for small skeleton roots) as well as multi-point sensors (for large coarse roots) were found as very important root characteristics in addition to changes of their structure. The experimental sites were located in the Training Forest Enterprise of Mendel University situated north of Brno, southern Moravia. The sap flow sensors were installed on stems and roots of spruce trees before the experimental treatment, thus under conditions of no load.   • Komplexní šetření vlivu pojezdu vyvážecích traktorů na půdu a kořenový systém stromů, zjišťování úrovní tlaků v půdě způsobených pojezdy vyvážecích traktorů. U většiny lokalit nastalo zhutnění půdy do hloubky 20 cm, tlaky dosahovaly v závislosti na typu a zatížení stroje a na typu půdy průměrných hodnot od ca 1,0 do 3,0 bar během pojezdu. výrazný nárůst koncentrace C02 v půdním vzduchu. Vizualizace kořenů georadarem způsobilá k terénnímu studiu skeletových kořenů. Odkryv kořenů pomocí supersonického proudu vzduchu. Srovnávací a pokusné metody na úrovni morfologie, anatomie a histologie zaměřené na zjištění růstových a strukturálních alterací různých kategorií kořenů pod vlivem uvedených stresorů. Zjišťování absorpčního povrchu kořenů na základě měření elektrické vodivosti stromů a půdy. Mimo popisu změn struktury kořenů pod vlivem pojezdu těžkých mechanizmů byl prokázán význam studia absorpční funkce kořenů, měřitelné na základě transpiračního proudu.
