Description	Humification is important aspect of the natural revitalization of substitute tree stands. Character of soil chemical properties depends on interrelationships between soil solution as a medium and pedogenetic residues which form the sorption complex. The aim of analyses is establish the relationship between forest natural vegetation and specified pedochemical properties of H- and A-horizons (top soil horizons) in relation to natural potential of site on selected set of six permanent research plots (PRPs) of substitute tree stands in south-western part of Broumovská vrchovina Highlands (Czech Republic). The effective and potential sorption properties of top soil horizons were obtained. The selected soil properties were compared with synuzia of forest ground herb flora statistically. Non-linear correlations between selected eco-coenotical groups of indication herb species abundance-dominance values and values of H-horizons potential cation exchange capacity were evaluated. Stav chemických vlastností je závislý na interakcích mezi půdním roztokem coby základním médiem pro výměnné reakce a organo-minerálních koloidních částicích, které společně tvoří sorpční komplex. Cílem práce bylo posoudit potenciální vztah mezi přirozenou lesní vegetací a specifickými půdními vlastnostmi svrchních H- a A-horizontů při zohlednění přírodního potenciálu na stanovištích vybrané množiny šesti trvalých výzkumných ploch náhradních porostů v jihozápadní části Broumovské vrchoviny. Byly zkoumány efektivní a potenciální hodnoty sorpčních vlastností svrchních půdních horizontů. Tyto vybrané půdní vlastnosti byly statisticky srovnány se synuzií podrostní vegetace. Byly zjištěny nelineární korelace mezi hodnotami abundance-dominance u vybraných eko-cenotických skupin druhů a hodnotami potenciální kytiontové výměnné kapacity H-horizontů.
