Description	V umělých podmínkách otevřeného fóliovníku bylo sledováno působení látek kyselé depozice na břízu (Betula pendula Roth) a na ni vázaný fytofágní hmyz. V experimentu byly sazenice břízy rozděleny do čtyř variant: kontrola, kyselá zálivka, kyselá zálivka s postřikem listů, aplikace síranu amonného. Různé typy ošetření se projevily v obsahu živin v substrátu, celkovém obsahu prvků v listech a také v napadení stromů hmyzem. Byl sledován žír nosatců Phyllobius sp., blíže nespecifikovaných volně žijících housenek a housenic, sání mšic a třásněnek. Významný vliv na výběr potravy měl obsahu dusíku a síry v listech. (cs) The impact of acidifying compounds on the birch trees and associated phytophagous insects was assessed in artificial conditions of the opened plastic greenhouse. The white birch seedlings were divided into four groups with various treatments: control; acid watering; acid watering and spraying of leaves; addition of ammonium sulphate. Various treatments took effect in content of nutrients in substrate, total content of elements in leaves (dry mass) and also in insect infestation of trees. The feeding of Phyllobius sp., aphids, thrips and non-specified free-living caterpillars and hymenopterous larvae was examined. In this case, nitrogen and sulphur content in dry mass of leaves was considerable for choosing of nourishment.
