For it is appropriate especially sheep and goats, from which the keeper not only gaining valuable dairy and meat products, but also contributes to the upkeep of the landscape. In Šošůvka site in the Moravian Karst was in July 2007 carried out research on the goat farm. This was the assessment of the food supply and demand. The nutritional value of grass and goats activities to site conditions was established. For the collection of grass samples were choose places with the various biological structure characterizing the locality. It was a extensive habitat with the dominant representation of herbal floor (Thymus serphyllum, Potentilla anserina), semiintense habitat with a fellowship of grass representation (Lolium perene, Poa pratensis) and intense habitat with the dominance of Medicago sativa. - V regionech s vyšším podílem marginálních ploch se začíná rozšiřovat využití trvalých travních porostů pastvou. Pro ni jsou vhodné především ovce a kozy, od nichž chovatel získává nejenom hodnotné mléčné a masné produkty, ale současně se také podílí na udržování krajiny. V lokalitě Šošůvka v Moravském krasu byl v červenci roku 2007 proveden výzkum na kozí farmě. Jednalo se o hodnocení potravní nabídky a poptávky. Stanovovaly se nutriční hodnoty travního porostu a proběhlo sledování aktivity koz k stanovištním podmínkám. Pro odběr travních vzorků byly vybrány stanoviště s rozlišnou biologickou skladbou charakterizující danou lokalitu. Jednalo se o extenzivní stanoviště s převažujícím zastoupením bylinného patra (mateřídouška obecná, mochna husí), dále polointenzivní stanoviště se zastoupením travního společenstva (jílek vytrvalý, lipnice luční) a intenzivní stanoviště s převahou vojtěšky seté.
