  • Byla analyzována biomasa jarního ječmene (Malz, KM 1910, Sebastian)ve dvou růstových fázích (DC29, DC31)ze dvou lokalit (Žabčice, Kroměříž). V zeleném materiálu byl stanoven vitamin C, vitamin E, polyfenoly, foláty, proteiny, activita katalasy (CAT)a superoxiddismutasy (SOD). Nejvyšší aktivita SOD byla zjištěna u odrůdy Sebastian. Obsah vitamínu C, celkových polyfenolů a kyseliny ferulové se snižoval se stářím rostlin. Vhodná růstová fáze pro sklizeň biomasy je DC 29; v této fázi byla také detekována nejvyšší aktivita antioxidantů. Výnos vyrobeného džusu ze zmrazeného materiálu odrůdy Sebastian (DC31, Žabčice) byl 68 %. Džus byl konzervován fluidním sušením, mražením a lyofilním sušením. Pro obsah folátů, celkových polyfenolů a antioxidační aktivitu byla vhodnější konzervační úprava zmražením. (cs)
  • We determined the biomass of spring barley (Malz, KM 1910, Sebastian) in two growing phases (DC29, DC31) from two localities (Žabčice, Kroměříž -- CZ). Barley green mass was analyzed for the contents of vitamin C and E, total polyphenols, phenolic compounds, folate, proteins, the activity of catalase and superoxide dismutase was also determined. The highest activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) was determined in the variety Sebastian. Higher mean SOD activity was determined in the locality Žabčice versus the locality Kroměříž. Higher vitamin E activity was calculated in the samples of green biomass grown in Kroměříž. The mean vitamin E activity was the highest in the growing phase DC29. The contents of vitamin C, total polyphenols, and ferulic acid decreased with the age of barley plants. A suitable growing phase for biomass harvest is DC29; in this phase the highest activity of antioxidative substances was detected. The influence of the variety has not been proved undeniably.
