  • Souhrn: Těkavé látky (terpeny) jsou převážnou součástí silic1. Jsou obsaženy v různých částech rostlin: v květech, plodech, listech, kůře i kořenech. Nacházejí se v žláznatých chlupech, papilách, žláznatých buňkách, nádržkách, kanálcích a mezibuněčných prostorách. Tyto látky ((+)-a-pinen, (-)-camphen, (-)-b-pinen, (+)-3-caren, R-(-)-a-phellandren, R(+)-limonen aj.) byly stanovovány v různém rostlinném materiálu např. jehličí a listí stromů (čeledi Pinaceae, Juglandaceae) a léčivých aromatických a kořeninových rostlinách (čeledi Apiaceae, Lamiaceae). Pro extrakci stanovovaných látek ze vzorků jehličí a listí (Picea abies, P. omorika, P. pungens, Juglans regia, J. nigra, J. sieboldiana), plodů a listů (Carum carvi L., Coriandrum sativum L., Pimpinella anisum L., Foeniculum vulgare Mill., Salvia verticillata L., Salvia pratensis L., Ocimum basilicum L.) bylo použito několik způsobů extrakce: extrakce ultrazvukem, extrakce třepáním do rozpouštědla, destilace s vodní parou, extrakce dle Soxhleta, super (cs)

They're located in glandular trichomes, papillae, glandular cells, receptacles, ducts and intercellular spaces.
