  • V polním maloparcelkovém pokusu bylo porovnáváno působení společné aplikace stupňovaných dávek dusíku (60 a 90 kg N.ha-1) a síry (25 a 50 kg S.ha-1) oproti samotné aplikaci dusíku na výnos semene, počet tobolek na rostlinu a koncentraci morfinu v makovině u máku odrůdy Opál. Síra byla aplikována u jednotlivých variant ve formě síranu amonného (20,5 % N a 24 % S) a dusík byl vybilancován na patřičnou hladinu dusičnanem amonným (34,5 % N). Hnojiva byla aplikována jednorázově po vzejití porostu. Výnos semene byl statisticky signifikantně či vysoce signifikantně zvýšen u všech hnojených variant o 8,13 -- 40,69 % v porovnání s nehnojenou kontrolou, přičemž nejvyšší dávce N a S odpovídal nejvyšší výnos ze všech variant. Výnos semene narůstal s dávkou dusíku statisticky signifikantně o 9,30 % pouze ve spojení s nejvyšší dávkou síry. Síra v dávce 50 kg S.ha-1 dále stimulovala výnos semene při obou dávkách dusíku o 18,6 -- 26,74 % oproti shodným variantám bez aplikace síry. Počet tobolek na rostlinu narůst (cs)
  • In a vegetation pot trial we explored the joint application of increasing doses of nitrogen (0.3 -- 0.6 -- 0.9 g N/pot) and sulphur (18.3 and 40 mg S-SO4-2/kg) on seed yields, number of capsules per plant and concentration of morphine in the poppy straw(i.e. empty capsule + 15 cm of the stem) of the variety Opál. The respective variants were supplied with sulphur in the form of ammonium sulphate (20.5 % N and 24 % S) and nitrogen was made up to the appropriate level with ammonium nitrate (34.5 % N). The fertilisers were applied in one single application after emergence of the stand. The increase in seed yields in all the fertilised variants was statistically highly significant, i.e. by 54.8 -- 143.7 %, compared to the unfertilised control, and the yields increased with the doses of nitrogen. The increase in the level of sulphate sulphur in the soil from 18.3 mg S-SO4-2 (control) to 40 mg S-SO4-2 did result in a statistically significant increase in yields by 12.6 %, but only in conjunction with
