Description
| - Adaptabilita je řízena geneticky a je mírou využití environmentálních faktorů, jak přírodních, tak i agronomických. V posledních desetiletích souvisela s každoročním zvyšováním výnosů sledovaných plodin, jak v EU15, tak i v USA. Luskoviny, kukuřice, proso, pšenice a čirok byly nejvíce adaptované plodiny v Evropě, kdežto jahodník, hrušeň, rajče, vlašský ořešák a kukuřice v USA. Ozimé odrůdy ječmene vykázaly v ČR vyšší adaptabilitu, než jarní, i když nepřežily každou zimu. Výsledky ukazují, že vysoká adaptabilita je důležitým předpokladem pro pokračující zvyšování výnosů v nejlepších prostředích. (cs)
- Adaptability is genetically controlled and shows ability to exploit environmental attributes, both natural and agronomic. It was in the last decades related to the annual yield increases of the crops studied, both in the EU15 and the USA. Pulse, maize, millet, wheat and sorghum were most adapted in the Europe, whereas strawberry, pear, tomato, walnut and maize in the USA. Winter varieties of barley showed higher adaptability in the Czech Republic in comparison to the spring ones, even if they did not survive each winter. Results indicate that high adaptability is an important prerequisite for continued yield gains in the best environments.
