| - The influence of Bifezh (a veterinary additive, hexacyanoferrate immobilized on wood sawdust, Eksorb Ltd.-Sverdlovsk Region, Ekaterinburg, Russia) on 137-Cs uptake into meat was investigated in broiler chickens after applications of artificially contaminated feed mixture. Reduction factors (137Cs transfer without the additive compared to 137-Cs transfer after inclusion of the additive into the feed mixture) of as much as 2.23 and 8.46, respectively, were achieved after single and repeated administrations of the contaminated feed. Bifezh increased the elimination rate of 137-Cs in the decontamination period only slightly (decrease of T1/2b less than 1 day). The reduction effects of Bifezh were considerably and positively limited by amounts of the additive during both radiocaesium accumulation and decontamination. No significant differences in the reduction effect between breast and thigh meat were observed. Bifezh can be recommended as an alternative chemical countermeasure for reducing 137-Cs contamin

- Práce sleduje a analyzuje redukční účinek krmného přídavku %22Bifež%22 (veterinární aditivum ruské provenience - EKSORB, s.r.o., Sverdlovská oblast, Jekatěrinburg, Rusko) podávaného brojlerovým kuřatům uměle kontaminovaným jednorázově i opakovaně podávaným radiocesiem (137-Cs) v krmivu na transfer 137-Cs z krmiva do prsní a stehenní svaloviny. Redukční faktor dosáhl hodnoty 2,23, respektive 8,46, pro případ jednorázové, respektive opakované, aplikace radiocesiem kontaminovaného krmiva. Rychlost eliminace radiocesia ze svaloviny (biologický poločas) byla zvýšena jen nepatrně (méně než 24 hodin). Redukční efekt byl pozitivně ovlivněn množstvím podávaného přípravku. Nebyly pozorovány žádné významné rozdíly v redukčním účinku Bifežu mezi prsní a stehenní svalovinou. Aplikace krmného přípravku Bifež může být realizována jako alternativní chemické opatření pro redukci kontaminace kuřecího masa radiocesiem s doporučením zvýšení dávky oproti výrobcem udávaného množství.
