Description	The paper is aimed at the evaluation of relationships between the rate of investments and the rate of savings in EU15-countries. In EU-15 countries as a whole, the rate of investments roughly corresponded to the rate of savings but this paper also highlights several exemptions from this state and current development in particular countries. For the purpose of comparison, a difference indicator between the rate of investments and the rate of savings in EU15 countries is monitored. Polynomial trends of the difference indicator of the rate of investments and the rate of savings in the reference period indicate similar developmental tendencies in several groups of countries under investigation. This analysis proves the correlation between the rate of investments and the rate of savings on the level of EU15 and in most of examined countries.
