| - Paper focuses on a comparison of wine production industry and brewing industry based on the methodology of Higgins and Wincze. First of all it discusses the key industry attractiveness criteria. These criteria are used for evaluation of the wine-production industry and brewing industry attractiveness, and also for a mutual comparison of these two industries. This evaluation is based on the past development, focuses on the current situation, but also predicts the future development of the key attractiveness influences. Whereas brewing is considered to be on the top of its attractiveness for all firms in general with the expectations of its future decline, attractiveness of wine production is expected to grow especially for the producers of quality wines. The paper is a part of solution of the research plan of FBE MUAF in Brno, registered under the number MSM 6215648904.

- Příspěvek se zaměřuje na srovnání odvětví vinařství a pivovarnictví na základě metodiky Higginse a Winczeho (1989). Nejdříve uvádí klíčová kritéria atraktivity, mezi něž patří velikost trhu, perspektiva růstu trhu, rozmanitost trhu, sezonnost, kupní síla zákazníků, konkurenční struktura, oceňování, ziskovost odvětví, používaná technologie, legislativa a inflace. Tato kritéria jsou využívána ke zhodnocení atraktivity odvětví vinohradnictví a pivovarnictví, a také k vzájemnému porovnání těchto odvětví. Hodnocení je založeno na minulém vývoji, aktuální situaci, ale také na predikci budoucího vývoje klíčových sil atraktivity. Zatímco v pivovarnictví je atraktivita z obecného pohledu hodnocena jako kulminující s očekáváním jejího budoucího poklesu, atraktivita vinařství má rostoucí tendenci zvláště pro producenty jakostních vín.
