| - Dotychczasowe badania i opracowania poświęcały dużo uwagi kondycyjnym zdolnościom, które determinowane są przez procesy energetyczno-metaboliczne w czasie aktywności ruchowej dzieci i młodzieży. Jednakże równie ważne są, pełniące wiodącą rolę w osiągnięciu wysokiego poziomu funkcjonowania techniczno-taktycznego, zdolności koordynacyjne. Ten ważny a niepoznany całościowo obszar motoryki dzieci stanowi wyzwanie dla trenerów, nauczycieli i badaczy. Niezbędne i istotne jest prowadzenie rzetelnych badań, które będą wskaźnikiem poziomu właściwego rozwoju motoryczności dziecka. Szkolenie dzieci od początku powinno być odpowiednio sterowane poprzez właściwe planowanie i stosowanie kontroli tak by między innymi znać skuteczność i efekt wykonywanej pracy. Efektywność procesu treningowego jest różna na kolejnych poziomach zaawansowania sportowego. Mając na uwadze powyższe spostrzeżenia, postawiono pytanie badawcze: jaki jest poziom i jak kształtują się wybrane elementy sprawności koordynacyjnej u 11 letnich dzieci uprawiających rekreacyjnie pływanie? Badaniami objęto dzieci szkół podstawowych z Raciborza z klas piątych (rocznik 2002).
- Previous studies devoted much attention to the development of the abilities of stamina, which are determined by the metabolic and energy processes during physical activity of children and adolescents. However, equally important is coordination capacity that plays a leading role in achieving a high level of technical and tactical functioning. This important and unrecognized whole area of children's motor skills is a challenge for coaches, teachers and researchers. Necessary is to conduct thorough research that will be an indicator of the level of the child's proper development of motor skills. From the beginning children training should be adequately controlled through proper planning and application of control so that, inter alia, the effectiveness and the effect of their work will be known. The effectiveness of the training process is different for the next sport levels. Given the above observations, research posed the question: what is the level and shape of the individual coordination capacity of the subjects in the field of special swimming activities in 11 years old swimmers? The study included students from primary sports schools in fifth class/grade (born in 2002) from Raciborz. We analyzed, due to the popularity, the swimming stroke - front crawl/freestyle. Measurement of coordination abilities of young swimmers were based on a set of tests: the time it takes to swim the 25 m front crawl, kinesthetic sense of speed of the movement, the whole body reaction speed, spatial orientation ability, the balance ability, balance test.
