| - Publikace se snaží o identifikaci nových trendů v nabídce cestovního ruchu. Základním přístupem byla rozsáhlá sekundární analýza literárních pramenů. Jedná se o nejnovější odborné publikace a články v recenzovaných zahraničních periodikách. Kniha je rozdělena na tři části. První část obsahuje syntézu teoretických východisek. Obsahuje stručný přehled terminologie cestovního ruchu a definuje nové trendy v cestovním ruchu. Zabývá se také přístupem k chápání cestovního ruchu jako samostatné vědní disciplíny. Druhá část obsahuje přehled vybraných produktů cestovního ruchu, které vznikají v kontextu nových motivů účasti na cestovním ruchu. Třetí část je zaměřená na nové produkty s ohledem na nové cílové skupiny. Kniha ukazuje na nové perspektivy vývoje cestovního ruchu. Je zároveň impulsem ke hledání nových směrů a témat dalších výzkumů v cestovním ruchu.

- The publication aims to identify new trends in tourism supply, analyse, and describe new products on the tourism market. To achieve this goal, the method of secondary analysis was applied, using extensive research of Czech and particularly foreign specialised literature. This includes the latest academic books and largely also academic articles from reviewed periodicals abroad. The literature review has been completed with papers in other specialised journals according to individual chapter topics. Important parts of each chapter are the results of individual studies related to certain issues. The chapters are arranged into separate units. The book is divided into three parts. The first part contains definitions of the theoretical basis. It contains a brief review of tourism terminology and defines new trends in tourism. It also deals with attitude towards the understanding of tourism as a separate scientific discipline. Moreover, it describes the differences between mass and alternative tourism. The second part of the publication contains an overview of new tourism products, which reflect the changes in tourism participants' motivation. This includes food tourism, medical tourism, adventure tourism, dark tourism, event tourism, volunteer tourism, wedding tourism, film tourism and space tourism. The third part concentrates on new products in tourism supply which take into consideration specific needs of various target groups. This includes Tourism for elderly and disabled, LGBT tourism, LOHAS tourism which puts emphasis on health and healthy lifestyle of individual and society, and Halal and Kosher tourism, which takes into consideration needs based on faith. The publication shows the perspectives in further tourism development. The presented findings also give evidence of the need of new research, which would study the changing needs and conditions in tourism. (en)
