Description	Behaviour is influenced by attitudes existing in society. When behaviour needs change, one should focus on attitudes. The aim of this research is to investigate if the Paralympic School Day, a project of the European Paralympic Committee, has an effect on attitudes of elementary school children toward children with a disability. 48 children (mean age = 10.7) were assessed before and after the Paralympic School Day. Two questionnaires were used (Czech version of Children?s Attitude Toward Integrated Physical Education-Revised (CAIPE-CZ) & Siperstein?s Adjective Checklist). Results of the pre- and post-test show that 33 children had a positive change on the CAIPE-CZ. The means differ significantly (alpha = 0,00) with a medium effect size (ES = 0,366). Comparable results are found with the Adjective Checklist, with a small ES (alpha = 0,007; ES = 0,143). Most children have a change in attitude after following the Paralympic School Day.
