Description
  • The reliability of posture diagnostics done by means of the diagnostic system DTP-2 is discussed in this contribution. Titubation of the proband is one of factors that decreases the reliability of posture diagnostics. This problem has not been studied in detail yet, therefore the results of a study that quantifies the influence of proband titubation is presented. The titubation was quantified in three chosen fixation positions: A - the loose position, B - the position with partial fixation by means of the upper extremities, C - the position with the trunk fixation by means of a wall. The fixation positions A and C have the most suitable properties for an application in clinical practice. The fixation position A has the lowest reliability because a proband titubation is not decreased but on the other hand the spine curve is not affected by systematic error. Furthermore, the values of unaffected titubation expressed by means of the standard deviations can be used for the assessment of a proband's p
