Description	The actual condition and function of the supporting-movement system, whose inseparable element is the basal body segment - the foot, is simultaneously one of the limiting segments for reaching optimal physical fitness. To the extent that foot morphology is changed, the foot's ability to react to an impulse is also changed and therefore its functions - flexibility, plasticity and reactiveness - are influenced. It comes to changes in the extent of forces and pressures that affect the sole of the foot. Inadequate strain or overexertion of the foot can lead to overexertion of other articulations on lower limbs. A change in foot morphology can retrogressively influence the condition of muscle dysbalances on lower limbs, furthermore also on the condition of muscle groups of part of the lower trunk. Foot morphology and her function was studied using the podographic method and Footscan software. We focused 120 students from the first year majoring in the fields of physical education and recreology Faculty of (en) Aktuální stav a funkce podpůrně pohybového systému byla zkoumána z hlediska analýzy tlakových sil v oblasti kontaktu nohy s podložkou.
